Three firefighters and one civilian were hurt in a massive, wind-swept blaze at a century-old apartment building in upper Manhattan Friday afternoon. Flaming chunks of debris could be seen falling from the top of the building. The fire ripped through the building, sending large plumes of smoke into the sky.
