A missing 13-year-old girl from North Carolina has been found alive in Oklahoma, authorities say.

Jacob Gardea, 23, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was arrested and faces charges from the state of North Carolina for abduction of a child.

She was reported missing by her mother on November 26th.

Aubrey was last seen by family members on Sunday night and was reported missing the following day, according to ABC affiliate WSOC.

Gardea faces child abduction charges in North Carolina, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Investigators tracked a kidnapped girl across multiple states and found her safe in Oklahoma, 900 miles (1,448 kilometers) from her North Carolina home.
