Tesla envisions 'partial presence' in India by 2019 end

You might remember how, back in February, Elon Musk's Space X launched its Falcon Heavy rocket for the first time, carrying with it a cherry red Tesla Roadster and a dummy driver named "Starman". In a Recode interview with Kara Swisher, Musk lets listeners know that the pickup truck is more of a personal passion project, and isn't expected to see massive sales.

The user had asked if Panasonic "will also be a partner of the China gigabattery production", to which Musk said that Tesla plans to source cell production locally "most likely from several companies", including Panasonic.

Sharing Starman's current position in a diagram to Twitter, SpaceX also tweeted a nod to Douglas Adams' seminal work The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which is beloved by Musk. Again, he blamed local regulations for Tesla's difficulties in launching its products in the South Asian country. The investors involved have since filed an amended complaint.

"To our knowledge, no government agency in an ongoing investigation has concluded that any wrongdoing occurred", Tesla wrote in its filing.

The dispute began when Acosta first asked Trump about the migrant caravan approaching the USA southern border. When NBC's Peter Alexander tried to stand up for his peer, Trump turned his ire on him as well.

Tesla would only be at fault if it issued targets to investors that were recklessly or purposefully made without a basis in fact.
