New Starbucks holiday cups mean it's officially Christmas

Starbucks unveiled its holiday cups for the 2018 season Thursday, with this year's designs inspired by the company's own coffee roasts and logo.

Also making a comeback are the six holiday beverages, including Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Gingerbread Latte and Egg Nog Latte. The cups will roll out in Starbucks locations on Friday. She also told CNN that this year's cups are "not only retro, but true to who we are". Prices were the same for all the other seasonal coffee specials.

Someone will probably still get upset because this is what people do now, even though there are many, much better things to get upset about these days.

Our second source points out that Grande has addressed the split publicly so it's only fair that Davidson does the same. But this time, the night's musical guest, Maggie Rogers , was the subject of his impulsive affection.

As I noted a year ago, the holiday cup, which asked people to draw, color and doodle on their own cups, reportedly ended the war on Christmas.

Then, starting Saturday through January 7, customers who bring that cup back to Starbucks for a refill can get 50 cents off a grande holiday beverage. For example, the "Stargyle" cup incorporates the stars seen in the Starbucks Siren's crown, while the "Stripes" cup features a design mimicking the seam on a back of Starbucks coffee. You can drink them all in decorative cups, including a limited-edition red reusable cup that you get for free when you order one of the holiday drinks.

With Halloween over, the holiday season begins to get underway, and one of the telltale signs that Christmas is coming is Starbucks' unveiling of their holiday cup selection.
