Friends Ross Lookalike Arrested

Friends Ross Lookalike Arrested

The actor David Schwimmer, who played Ross Geller in the hit U.S. sitcom, even posted a spoof video showing him carrying a similar crate of beer.

However, by way of providing an alibi, Schwimmer himself posted a video on Twitter in which he hilariously reenacted the scene from which the security camera still was taken, Sputnik reported. As you can see, I was in NY.

On Tuesday Lancashire Police confirmed that a 36-year-old man had been arrested in London on suspicion of theft.

Eventually the public appeal proved successful for Blackpool Police, who continued the joke while confirming the arrest on Twitter.

This morning, Lancashire police tweeted, "Following the appeal we posted looking for a man who resembles a well-known actor, we now have an update".

United Kingdom police have made an arrest in an alleged beer theft that made global headlines last month because the suspect looked so much like Ross from Friends.

Warriors suspend Green after verbal exchange with Durant
Things got testy between Kevin Durant and Draymond Green Monday night, in what was their first public confrontation of the season. Additionally, the conflict wasn't just limited to Green and Durant as others confronted Green for his late-game decision-making.

He added the hashtag "itwasntme" to the post.

The Met Police replied to the tweet, making reference to the Friends theme song I'll Be There For You.

Police, in their now-deleted original post, made clear that they didn't suspect the actor of any wrongdoing, but this didn't stop Schwimmer from having a little bit of fun last month.

"I don't think it's been this guy's day, his week, his month or even his year", one fan wrote in one of the 101,000 comments that were left on the post, according to the BBC.

'He is known to have studied Karate and we believe he has mastered the art of Unagi, the state of total awareness'. "We're so sorry it has to be this way".
