Elizabeth II invited mom Meghan Markle to celebrate Christmas together

Doria's composure during the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding back in May left a lasting impression on the Queen, especially in the midst of all the drama surrounding Meghan's father, Thomas Markle.

A source said it was a "very thoughtful gesture" for the pregnant Duchess's mother to be invited, in what would be an unusual move, the Sunday Express reported.

Meghan already broke Christmas tradition once by attending the royal family's celebrations a year ago as Prince Harry's fiancee, which was unusual for someone who had not married into the family yet. "Unlike Kate who has the support of his family, the Queen acknowledges that Meghan has no other relatives in this country", explains a source to the media.

Doria's calm, warm demeanour appears to have impressed the Palace, after she was seen chatting to her in-laws at the royal wedding. In addition to having established a relationship very complicit with prince Charles, the former actress of the series Suits can boast of being close to the queen Elizabeth II.

When the 92-year-old Monarch heard about it she told Doria she could come to Sandringham.

A Breaking Bad film is coming
Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is at the helm of the project, which could yet be either for TV or a theater release. Gilligan created and has also directed episodes of Better Call Saul . "Selfishly, I didn't want to be polarising".

When the royal baby news was revealed in October, the grandmother-to-be was said to be "very happy about the lovely news" and looking forward "to welcoming her first grandchild", according to a statement from Kensington Palace.

As a senior member of the Royal Family, she would typically be expected to follow in the Queen's footsteps and not cast a ballot in order to remain "strictly neutral with respect to political matters".

Mr Markle pulled out because of health problems just days before she was due to walk down the aisle and admitted he had staged paparazzi pictures.
