Buffalo Bills cut ties with interception-prone QB Nathan Peterman

Jamal Adams is clearly feeling frustrated following the Jets' 41-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Unfortunately he could never carry that level of play into the regular season.

Peterman started Week 1 this season in a 47-3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens and was promptly benched by head coach Sean McDermott mid-game for rookie Josh Allen after throwing a pair of interceptions while tallying 24 yards on 5-of-18 pass attempts.

Peterman tallied three touchdowns and 12 interceptions in those games while completing 52.3 percent of his passes. Barkley threw two touchdowns to lead the Bills to a win over the Jets last weekend. Barkley, whom the team signed October 31, completed 15 of 25 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns.

Despite opting for Barkley over Peterman in Sunday's game at the Jets, McDermott continued to stand by Peterman earlier Monday.

The 41 points alone topped the 33 Buffalo combined to score in its previous four games, and marked almost half of the 96 points the Bills scored through their first nine games. "Again, I know damn well I ain't quitting".

The untold truth of Jim Acosta
The White House Correspondents' Association backed the lawsuit, filed in Washington, D.C., district court. Acosta was this week stripped of his White House press credentials after an argument with Trump.

Adams was asked whether the team quit.

Peterman first made national headlines when he threw five interceptions in a half against the Los Angeles Chargers previous year.

Perhaps, he added, Barkley provided Allen a blueprint of how the Bills can succeed.

Peterman threw a pair of interceptions in relief that day, including a pick-six in the final minutes of a 20-13 loss.

Peterman began the season as Buffalo's starter. He also said the Jets prepared to face quarterback Josh Allen, who wound up sitting out for the fourth straight game with an elbow injury.
