Ariana Grande Teases Wedding-Themed ''Thank U, Next'' Performance

Ariana Grande returned to daytime television to perform her new single "thank u, next" for the first time on Wednesday's episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show".

Ariana Grande performed her latest single "thank u, next" for the first time on Ellen and her "First Wives Club" dance routine saw her nearly fall down.

At one point, Grande stood up on a chair, bopping to her song in white heeled boots, but when she stepped down, she stumbled and fell, exclaiming, "Oh my god!" "Holding hands with my mama", she sang, through tears.

Grande was there to debut "Thank U, Next", which references her former flames, including her ex-fiance, Pete Davidson, the late Mac Miller, and rapper Big Sean.

The "Bang Bang" singer revealed that her exes, who she mentions by name in the first verse, heard the song before its release on Saturday.

"Ariana Grande is a star on her own terms, never bending to any particular musical trend or path in the industry", says Ross Scarano, Billboard's vp of content. However, the singer's rep has now told ET Canada the release had nothing to do with the "One Last Time" hitmaker. "'Cause she grew from the drama".

The tracks included Cadillac and Champagne, thought to be versions of Ariana's previously unreleased songs.

We loved how she and her girls simply marched up the stairs and off the set at the end of the number giving great attitude and girl power, but DeGeneres was on the stage waiting to chat with her.
