Cape Town - Batsman Darren Bravo is set to play his first global game in two years after he was recalled to the West Indies T20I squad for the upcoming series in India. However, the likes of Sunil Narine, Andre Russel, Dwayne Bravo and Chris Gayle have missed the flight.

South Africa bowlers Kagiso Rabada and Imran Tahir have also advanced within the top-10 of the rankings after their side's 3-0 home series triumph over Zimbabwe. West Indies was struggling at 74/6 but thanks to a crucial partnership between Keemo Paul and Roston Chase that helped the visitors drag the scoreline to 181 runs before getting bundled up. "Our guys understand how to play in these conditions and were clinical".

Johnny Grave, Chief Executive Officer of the Windies, also explained the reason behind announcing the squad so early, saying they had to arrange for travel and visas.

Powell, meanwhile, had just slapped Kuldeep to the cover boundary when he failed to keep down a prod at the next ball and was caught by Shaw close in, triggering the final collapse which saw the last five wickets go down for 55 runs. Russell has been omitted from the ODI squad but has been included in the T20s.

Rutherford, playing for Guyana Amazon Warriors, put on a display of six-hitting that has lifted him into global reckoning. India trounced West Indies in what was their biggest ever Test victory.

Second Skripal poisoning suspect identified as Dr. Alexander Mishkin
Skripal, a former GRU colonel, was convicted of treason in 2006 by a Russian court after being accused of spying for Britain. The group said it would provide forensic evidence and other information it used to conclude Petrov was Mishkin on Tuesday.

Chase, batting at number six, then attempted to halt the slide in a 25-run, sixth wicket stand with wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich (10) - the best stand of the innings so far.

According to a report in The Indian Express, the Chairman of West Indies' Selection Panel, Courtney Browne, revealed that Gayle had made himself unavailable for the series.

Similarly, it is possible that along with Rohit Sharma, players that are not part of the Indian Test team will be playing for their respective state teams.

"The panel believes that this new group of cricketers, in addition to their cricketing skills, will have the athleticism needed to improve our fielding, which will be vital to our success".

Alongside these two senior members, Windies have opted to give opportunities to some of the youngsters, keeping in mind that the next World T20 is still about two years away.
