The U.S. Mega Millions lottery, after an 11-week spell without a victor, has amassed its third-largest jackpot ever, $548 million, which will be up for grabs in Friday night's drawing.

Numbers will be drawn Friday night for a chance at the estimated $548 million Mega Millions prize. It was the 22nd consecutive draw without anyone matching all six numbers.

The top Mega Millions jackpots of all time are $656 million in 2012 and $648 million a year later.

This weekend's Mega Millions tickets will be available for $2 per ticket and can be purchased until 10:45 tonight in MA.
