'Space Jam 2' First Photo Released

Space Jam 2 is definitely happening, and Black Panther director Ryan Coogler is going to lend a hand.

Coogler's name was included in a photo tweeted out Wednesday by SpringHill Entertainment, the entertainment company founded by National Basketball Association star LeBron James. The picture of lockers also revealed Ryan Coogler of the "Black Panter" will serve as producer.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that the tentative production schedule is set to begin in 2019.

"I loved his vision" for Black Panther, James tells The Hollywood Reporter, noting that when he was a kid growing up in Akron, Ohio, there were no black superheroes. This will be Coogler's first project since Black Panther was released earlier this year.
