Arsenal boss Unai Emery calls for improvement from Mesut Ozil

Arsenal striker Alex Iwobi is hoping to play a role in the Gunners English Premier League clash against Newcastle on Saturday.

Emery, however, has called for focus from his men and has backed Arsenal to continue to impose their "personality" on matches.

The Gunners were able to put a hard start behind them as they clinched a 3-1 home win against West Ham United before making the trip to Cardiff City, where they came out on top with a 3-2 victory.

The Nigerian missed the 3-2 victory over Cardiff City but is back in full training and, presumably, in contention to play against Newcastle.

"I want to find with him the possibility to do the best, to make decisive passes, to do more near and in the box to score", the manager said ahead of their trip to Newcastle United. We will try to set a team up that can win with the tactics, and that's what I have to do.

"But he is feeling like I am feeling". We are going to work with four players.

"He had a relaxing three days off at the weekend".

"Mesut, like other players, works very well here and also working the ties and also together to improve things".

"I can say that I am very happy with him because he is 32 years old but I think physically, with his performances with us in matches, he is playing with a very good level".

Emery is busy preparing his side for the weekend trip north to take on Rafa Benitez's Newcastle side as the Gunners look to build on their recent away win over Cardiff City.

@SimonBrotherton: Newcastle won the last meeting between the sides 2-1 at St James' Park in April, and the way Arsenal have started the season, you'd think the Magpies are likely to have some chances here.
