Mother, Daughter Killed by Boulder that Fell off Truck

The vehicle sits in the driveway for about two minutes and then the driver turns the truck around.

A mother and daughter from Shoreview were killed Monday, July 9, when their vehicle was struck by a boulder that fell off a commercial truck in Rosemount, police say.

Rosemount Police Chief Mitchell Scott says 33-year-old Joe Czeck of Hastings was arrested after investigators used surveillance video to identify the truck, its owner and the driver.

"Things happen out of our control all the time, so take the extra time to make sure things are secure", Scott said.

Trump himself said he would "firmly ask the question" today but added he doubts Putin would just cop to it in front of him. Democrats pounced on special counsel Robert S.

Detectives tracked down Czeck thanks to a security camera at the Pine Bend Refinery that captured the truck driving away from the accident, police said.

Christiansen and her 32-year-old daughter, Jena Christiansen, who was in the front passenger seat, died at the scene.

In Facebook post since the accident, Jena's boyfriend, Ryan Kilian, wrote that she was 'my world' and asked to 'wake me up from this nightmare'. Kilian said Jena worked as a general manager for several Red Lobster restaurants in the area. Images came back of a 1999 Sterling Acterra hauling large boulders in the vicinity of the accident. She's so smart and lovely.

Czeck was located in Inver Grove Heights, was arrested and booked into the Dakota County Jail, WCCO said. She made me the man I am today I would be nothing without her. She would do anything for anyone who needed help she loved her family so much she had an fantastic sense of humor. "She had an awesome sense of humor I literally have spent hours just talking to her", Kilian wrote to 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS. The company had two registered vehicles and only one driver, presumably Czeck.
