Jabari Parker On Verge Of Two-Year, $40M Deal With Bulls

Jabari Parker On Verge Of Two-Year, $40M Deal With Bulls

Restricted free-agent forward Jabari Parker and the Chicago Bulls are progressing on an offer sheet deal, league sources told ESPN on Friday.

Parker, the No. 2 pick in the 2014 National Basketball Association draft, has averaged 15.3 points and 5.5 rebounds over four seasons. He's a good player and both teams could use him.

While some of the future National Basketball Association stars are lighting up the court in Las Vegas in Summer League, Milwaukee Bucks forward Jabari Parker chose to take his game to the blacktop and take on some fans in a pickup game.

The Duchess of Cambridge delighted fans as she joined the royal family at Westminster Abbey on Tuesday morning. Case in point, the pale mint blue dress she donned on Tuesday for the Royal Air Force 100 ceremony in London.

Parker, even though he only played in 31 games last season, averaged just over 12 points per game and almost five rebounds on close to 50 percent shooting.

With deals for Ersan Ilyasova and Brook Lopez already in place, the Bucks already have to deal with a hard cap, though, and a deal for Parker would see them entrenched in the luxury tax while also losing any chance of meaningful flexibility in the coming years.

Parker is a career 35.2 percent 3-point shooter. Parker is a tough guy to peg, because all he needs is for one team to think his upside overshadows his injury history and he's going to be in for a big payday. It seems that the Bulls are preparing to make a splash in the next few days, as reported by KC Johnson.
