Why Angelina Jolie Could Lose Custody of Her Kids to Brad Pitt

Nearly two years after their much-publicised split, former Hollywood super-couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still working out the finer details of a custody arrangement for their six kids - Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and Knox and Vivienne, 9.

According to The Blast, which was first to report the new court order, a judge in Jolie and Pitt's divorce case has determined that their six children's lack of "a relationship with their father is harmful to them", and says "it is critical that each of them have a healthy and strong relationship with their father and mother".

One of the issues the court addresses are the children's cell phones.

In the spirit of strengthening the relationship with Pitt, the court has laid out a summer schedule for the children, minus Maddox, to spend time with the actor over the summer.

Angelina Jolie is being asked to give estranged husband Brad Pitt more access to their kids amid the duo's ongoing divorce negotiations.

If Angelina does not allow her children to spend more time with Brad, she may lose primary custody.

The doctor is once again required to be present and will meet with the kids before and after each two day period. Jolie is responsible for the children traveling back to Los Angeles, and Pitt will be responsible for getting them back to London.

Following their split, Pitt was investigated by multiple agencies after Jolie alleged that he had a drinking problem and was abusive to their children. He will have custody again from August 11 until the estranged couple's next court hearing on August 13. Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016, shortly after Pitt got into some kind of altercation with Maddox on a private plane returning from Europe.

In some ways, the globe-trotting Jolie has come to resent Pitt for "essentially forcing her to settle down in Los Angeles with the kids", Us Weekly reported in May. The judge also requested that the calls and texts not be monitored by Jolie.
