Trump adviser says there’s a ‘special place in hell’ for Canadian leader

US President Donald Trump on Monday continued his vitriolic attacks on several close allies in the wake of his early departure from an unusually discordant G7 meeting in Canada, which saw him withdraw US support for a joint communique.

"PM Justin Trudeau of Canada acted so meek and mild during our @ G7 meetings only to give a news conference after I left saying that, "US Tariffs were kind of insulting" and he 'will not be pushed around.' Very dishonest & weak", Trump wrote.

Embedded in more polite remarks, Trudeau reiterated his objections to Trump's imposition of tariffs on steel and aluminum from Canada, Mexico and the European Union and his own plans to introduce retaliatory measures targeting USA products.

Just as the Trudeau-hosted G7 meeting of the world's leading industrialized nations had seemed to weather Mr. Trump's threats of a trade war, the president backed out of the group's joint statement that Trudeau said all the leaders had come together to sign.

"As Canadians, we are polite, we're reasonable, but also we will not be pushed around,"Trudeau said".

After a trade advisor to Donald Trump indicated there's a "special place in hell" for the likes of Canada's Prime Minister, a top European Union (EU) official shot one back at the US administration by using the US President's favourite medium, Twitter. At a rare solo news conference before heading to Asia, Trump said he pressed for the G-7 countries to eliminate all tariffs, trade barriers and subsidies in their trading practices.

Navarro added that while these were his own words, they reflected the "the sentiment that was on Air Force One".

President Trump "is not going to let a Canadian Prime Minister push him around - push him, POTUS, President Trump, around - on the eve of this" North Korean Summit, Kudlow announced.

Other features for Sekiro include lovely vistas, enormous castles, weird weaponry, and some equally freaky and fearsome enemies. It's slated for "early 2019", with a suggested retail price of $59.99.

"(Trump's) withdrawal via Twitter is of course sobering and a little depressing", Merkel said, according to a translation from public broadcaster Deutsche Welle.

Peter Navarro lit into Canadian Prime Minister, accusing him of acting in 'bad faith'.

In the two tweets that ended US support for the joint G-7 statement, Trump accused Trudeau of having made "false statements" during a prior press conference.

White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow and trade adviser Peter Navarro drove the message home in an extraordinary assault on a close USA ally and neighbour.

So there you have it. Justin Trudeau's eyebrows are just fine, thanks. Ben Sasse said was "weak".

"To be honest with you, Prime Minister Trudeau, I respect".

CNN's Jake Tapper interjected: "So this was about North Korea?" "I figured. Fake News CNN". Even before arriving in Charlevoix, the American leader drew fire from his G7 peers for new tariffs on imported steel and aluminum products including those from Canada and the European Union. The G7 also includes Britain, Italy, France, Germany and Japan. Trump tweeted on Thursday, June 7, the day before the summit started.

"They should have said to him, 'God speed, you are negotiating with the insane nuclear tyrant in North Korea, and we are behind you, '" Kudlow added.
