Rose McGowan Was Just Indicted on Cocaine Charges - She’s Blaming Harvey Weinstein

McGowan's trial date will be set Tuesday.

A May cover story with The Hollywood Reporter included comment from McGowan about the fact she faced a maximum of 10 years in prison if convicted, while Weinstein remained free.

Actress Rose McGowan was indicted by a Loudoun County grand jury in Virginia Monday on one felony charge of cocaine possession but she maintained her innocence, claiming disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein may have framed her.

McGowan pleaded not guilty to the charge, as she claims she had been without the wallet for five hours before getting it back, meaning anyone could have planted the drugs in the wallet. The police said two bags of cocaine were in the wallet.

"Rose steadfastly maintains her innocence. I assure you, this selective prosecution will be met with a strong defense".

Scotland vs Pakistan - Highlights & Stats
The Scots, sent into bat by England captain Eoin Morgan , lost two wickets in quick succession to be 107 for two off 15 overs. ASHTON AGAR hopes Australia can capitalise on uncertainty created in the England camp by their shock defeat to Scotland .

"Are they trying to silence me?" In court filings, McGowan's attorneys suggested someone connected to Weinstein planted the illicit materials in a bid to damage her credibility.

"There is a warrant out for my arrest in Virginia", she wrote.

On October 30, McGowan first publicly responded to the existence of the warrant on Twitter. Falsely accusing Mr. Weinstein of committing a crime is something McGowan has in our opinion done before and people must take note of her indictment and more importantly, her cavalier habit of falsely accusing Mr. Weinstein of criminal conduct he vigorously denies.

McGowan told Farrow she has used drugs in the past, but said marijuana was her "jam".

Weinstein pleaded not guilty to the sexual assault charges.
