‘First Man’ Trailer Gives First Look at Ryan Gosling as Neil Armstrong

As seen above in the new trailer for First Man, Gosling is playing Neil Armstrong, the first human being to set foot on the moon.

"This isn't just another trip, Neil", Foy says in the trailer that debuted Friday during Jimmy Kimmel Live! The movie will explore the sacrifices and the cost - on Armstrong and on the nation - of one of the most risky missions in history.

Following the first poster drop earlier today, Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for First Man. The first trailer is online.

Canadian Senate votes in favour of bill to legalize cannabis
But the two senators shared a podium Thursday to launch new legislation on an issue they can agree on: keeping federal hands off state-legalized marijuana.

The film shows everything experienced by Armstrong from his days of training for the unsafe mission, to how it affected his family life, right through to the actual experience of the journey. It's written by Josh Singer (Spotlight) and directed by Damien Chazelle (La La Land), both of whom have form when it comes to collecting little golden statues. Mowgli, Aviron's Serenity and Annapurna's Where'd You Go, Bernadette? The movie is expected to explore the sacrifices and the cost - on Armstrong and on the nation - of one of the most unsafe missions in history. "TThere are risks but we have every intention of coming back", Gosling tells the press as Armstrong. Corey Stoll plays Buzz Aldrin, with Kyle Chandler as Deke Slayton, Jason Clarke as Ed White, and Pablo Schreiber as Jim Lovell.

So far, the Best Picture race appears to be MAJOR SLIM PICKENS so First Man will be like that first hunk of meat thrown to starving lions.
