Ubisoft will be holding a closed beta for The Crew 2

If you don't get in, that might be another way to get some playing time in The Crew 2 closed beta.

The Crew 2 will be launching next month, so Ubisoft is giving players a chance to try out the game early with a closed beta. The open-world and racing were praised on release, but the always online requirements were a source of frustration for players.

The Crew 2, judging from our time playing it at E3 past year, will embrace the absurdity of its ideas.

The Crew 2 hits PC, PS4, and Xbox One on June 29.

Samsung announces two new colours for Galaxy S9 and S9+
Sources said that because of the earlier panel production, Samsung could release the Note 9 a month earlier than the Note 8. Samsung's rumoured Android Go smartphone is being tested for four markets in the Indian sub-continent, a new report claims.

Check out the full details on The Crew 2 site. The best part is, all of these modes of transportation are available at the press of a button thanks to the Fast-Fav feature which will allow you to switch vehicles depending on the type of terrain you encounter. Players will also be able to use the Fast-Fav feature, and instantly switch their vehicle type depending on the terrain they encounter as they explore a handsome open world recreation of the United States.

As far as events, the closed beta has the Motor Trend Classic Challenge, a series of street races that take place across New York City.

Your progress won't carry over into the final game, but you will get a snazzy, exclusive leather jacket for participating in the preview.

Developed by Ubisoft Ivory Tower, a studio based in Lyon, France, The Crew 2 will let players experience the thrill of the American motorsports spirit inside a fully redesigned USA. With a wide variety of cars, bikes, boats, and planes, compete in a wide range of driving disciplines.
