Doug Franz previews the NBA Draft Lottery for the Phoenix Suns

We'll find out where L.A. will pick Tuesday night at the 2018 NBA Draft Lottery, but the moment, that seems like an extreme long shot.

The lottery, however, will be held on Tuesday, May 15, in Chicago for the first time in history.

Hoping to cash in on some decades-old luck and nostalgia, Orlando Magic co-founder Pat Williams will have a blast from the past in his possession as he keeps a talking Lil' Penny doll with him during the National Basketball Association draft lottery Tuesday night.

The Magic haven't won the lottery since turning 2004's No. 1 pick into Dwight Howard. If, somehow, they are the luckiest team in the lottery, and end up with that Lakers' pick, then they will have yet another opportunity to add to this list. We don't want anybody running off with that, so I'll have that in my possession the entire evening.

Questionable past emerges for Stormy's lawyer
Avenatti said Cohen's belief that Avenatti broke the law by publishing Cohen's banking information is misguided. Her case, recently removed to Los Angeles federal court, has been stayed pending the criminal probe of Cohen.

More likely outcomes are that the Magic will obtain the fifth pick (a 26.2 percent chance) or the sixth pick (a 35.9 percent chance).

Put another way, if C's don't secure the Lakers' 2018 pick, they'll have at least an 86 percent chance of acquiring the Kings' 2019 pick.

That's good news for Doug, as he believes there is only one choice for the Suns if Arizona's Deandre Ayton is available. The No. 20 pick is via Oklahoma City. Will any team make an unexpected jump into the top three?

In 2015, the Magic relocated him from the dais to the secluded room where the pingpong balls are drawn from the lottery machine.
