OnePlus teases waterproofing for the OnePlus 6

Earlier this month, GizmoChina had reported that the OnePlus 6 would land in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB variants. Combine that with news of the outgoing OnePlus 5T going out of stock in stores all over India and Europe, we know for sure that the device will make its appearance before the end of April (but we did hear a rumour about the official launch date being May 5th). The upcoming smartphone from OnePlus has garnered a lot of attention in the past few weeks, all thanks to the numerous leaks that appeared to reveal the specifications of the handset. It also posted a short clip showing water dropping on a smartphone, understood to be the upcoming OnePlus 6, thus confirming it will boast water-resistant capability.

"Don't you just hate it when you have to stop using your phone when it rains?" One of the most anticipated smartphones right now is the OnePlus 6. We are talking about OnePlus 6 here.

What are you expecting from OnePlus? At first glance, the pictures look pretty good, though we'll provide out final verdict only after we get to review the OnePlus 6.

Since the phone is already rumored to be the most expensive smartphone in the OnePlus series, able to compete with top brand phones like Samsung's S8 or S9 or even Apple's iPhone X, having these waterproof and dust resistant features incorporated could set this phone apart. These camera samples have been posted by the company's CEO Pete Lau on Weibo, a Chinese social networking website.
