OT Cordy Glenn Traded to Bengals; Bills Swap 1st-Round Draft Picks

The Bills will be able to move further up in the first round to select the quarterback of their future and the Bengals get a veteran left tackle and are able to focus on the rest of the line moving forward.

Glenn is due a $2 million roster bonus this week and, according to Over The Cap, he will carry a cap hit of $11.25 million in 2018, something the Bills do not want to be tied to. In the first round, the Bills move up to No. 12 and the Bengals move down to 21.

Buffalo also traded its fifth-round pick (158th overall) for the Bengals' sixth-round selection (187th) as part of the Bill's second major trade in three days. The team had been previously rumored to have interest in USC's Sam Darnold, who is widely believed to be the first overall pick in this year's draft. They dealt Tyrod Taylor to the Browns for a third-round pick on March 9.

Le Parisien reported last December that the Finance Ministry is seeking to fine Amazon 10 million euros. Spokespeople for Apple France and Google France did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Overall, Glenn has played in 78 games (77 starts) during his six National Football League campaigns. It gives the team slightly over $39.7 million in cap space to work with this off-season. He was then placed on the season-ending injured reserve in Week 15 after being unable to play in five straight weeks before that. But even prior to last season, Glenn had issues with the ankle.

The Bills signed Glenn to a five-year, $65 million extension after assigning him the franchise tag during the 2016 offseason. With Dawkins productivity this year and with him having the much cheaper contract, Glenn was more than likely on his way out. Football Outsiders ranked Cincinnati's offensive line 24th in adjusted line yards and 20th in adjusted sack rate. There was a lot of praise and hype surrounding Ogbuehi coming out of Texas A&M, as he was set to become Andrew Whitworth's replacement when he left the Bengals before last season.
