Nicolas Cage To Voice Superman In

Nicolas Cage is all set to voice Superman in a new DC animated movie. Cage nearly took on the role of Superman for director Tim Burton in the Kevin Smith-scripted Superman Lives, but production troubles prevented the film from ever getting off the ground.

Warner Bros. previously announced the involvement of Will Arnett ("The Lego Batman Movie") and Kristen Bell ("Frozen"), but the Cage casting is notable for the actor's long obsession with the character and the intrigue around "Superman Lives", which was announced, but never filmed.

Singer/songwriter Halsey will voice the role of Wonder Woman, while rapper Lil Yachty will voice Green Lantern.

The Teen Titans Go! movie, which is officially called Teen Titans Go!

'Teen Titans Go! To The Movies' is released in Irish cinemas August 3rd.

Cage did, however, play the title role in both Ghost Rider movies, and while he was delightfully hammy in them, the films themselves were a massive disappointment to fans. The real stars are Robin (Scott Menville), Starfire (Hynden Walch), Raven (Tara Strong), Cyborg (Khary Payton), and Beast Boy (Greg Cipes).

Multiple outlets reported on Wednesday the company has told its 33,000 employees it will sell or close all of its us stores. But in six weeks time these shops will no longer exist because all 100 United Kingdom stores are closing down.

The Teen Titans will welcome Nicolas Cage for a Superman cameo.

He named one of his sons Kal-El, in honor of Superman's birth name.

Say what you will of the cartoon series, Teen Titans Go!, which aired April 23, 2013 on Cartoon Network as part of the DC Nation block and is now airing its fourth season.

Executive producer Sam Register told USA Today that the filmmakers "felt a great responsibility to find a voice for each character that would not only suit the role, but the playful tone of the Titans".

There's a grand history of actors who really wanted to play superheroes (or villains) for comic book movies and ended up not getting their way.
