While anyone can hope this device is sweet and sells well, it will undoubtedly come down to whether HTC attempts to get a carrier partner to help get this phone into the hands of consumers.

On the rear, the HTC U12 sports dual rear cameras with 12MP & 16MP sensors.

Most of these specs align with past reports we've shared. The HTC U12 will be no more so launch of the Plus variant may be pushed back a bit to April or May. The front will bear an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.

In addition to all these, the U12 Plus will come with Android Oreo OS and IP68 rating.
