Despite layoffs, Motorola's Moto Z line will continue

There are rumors that the Moto X5 might be cancelled, though there has never been any official confirmation about the next upgrade to Moto X4.

Earlier there were reports that almost half of the engineering employees at Motorola headquarters in Chicago were laid off. However, as reported first by Android Police, it doesn't look like this is happening anymore. The market continues to be a tough one for the smaller players, and the move would make Motorola more efficient.

Moto, the iconic mobile phone brand that Lenovo acquired from Google in 2014 for $2.91 billion, is not shaping up to be the success the Chinese brand would have hope for. At the Moto Hub stores, all the Motorola smartphones along with accessories like on-ear and in-ear headphones, Moto shells and covers will be sold.

However, Liangchen Chen, the owner of the Keyboard Moto Mod, said the future is bleak for the Z series as well. Namely, an upcoming one that just leaked.

Acadia Realty Trust (AKR) Just Recorded A Sigfniciant Increase
If we look at the Volatility of Physicians Realty Trust (DOC), Week Volatility is 2.71%, whereas Month Volatility is at 2.81%. It improved, as 52 investors sold VNO shares while 118 reduced holdings. 39 funds opened positions while 139 raised stakes.

However, fans of the Motorola X line will be disappointed, as it has got great reviews from sources like Android Authority. Reports coming out of the United States are that not only have Motorola had to lay off employees but also that they have cancelled one of their popular lines of phones.

Purported specs of Moto X5 leaked sometime ago.

In a cost cutting exercise Motorola are also looking to scale back their involvement in the development of third party Moto Mods. Rather, Moto will focus more on its E, G, and Z series of phones.

Based on the images, the headset looks to be custom-built for the Moto Z line, though we only have two images to lean on. The company is planning to reduce phones for niche markets and will focus on offering devices that can bring in more profits. "We are not going for any fixed target (to reach 1,000 "Moto Hubs"), but it can be as soon as in the next six months", said Mathur. This was then refuted by Lenovo, after which a new report came out claiming that the Moto X line was dead.
