Google app to get 'edit screenshot' feature, here's how it will work

The mini editor is set to be released with version 7.21 of the Google application, which according to 9to5Google is now in beta build.

Google heading to this direction is not entirely remote as Android's rival mobile platform, Apple's iOS, already offers the same capability with the iOS 11 rollout. This new feature will make it convenient for you edit screenshots you take in the main Google app on your Android device and share them. However, for stock Android users, this will be a new addition. Android Police recently discovered in a teardown of the Android Auto app that Google is adding support for Wi-Fi projection.

Windows Phone 7.5 And 8.0 Devices No Longer Receive Push Notifications
Microsoft also said that these devices will no longer be able to locate the device with "find my phone" app/feature. Microsoft is ending support for mobile push notifications on its Windows Phone 7 and 8 software by February 20th.

The Google app is now rolling out a built-in screenshot editor with beta version 7.21, starting last Friday, which will give users better sharing and editing tools, as spotted by 9to5Google. With the upcoming updates, it seems Google is finally ready to roll out the feature to everyone. Afterwards, you'll begin to see a "Screenshot captured" panel at the bottom after each capture, allowing you to quickly edit or share it. In the iPhone and iPad counterpart, users can readily apply filters and edit works on captured screenshots outside of the Photo app because the feature is OS-integrated. You can also crop the screenshot and draw on it. Once you enable this, each time you take a screenshot, you will see the option to Edit or Share at the bottom panel of the page. Once you are done fixing the screenshot, you can choose to tap on the check mark to save the image.

The edited work will be saved and users will then be prompted to share the image. In testing, the functionality seems to break when you are multiple links deep into a website, but generally, most people don't treat the app as a web browser anyway.
