Facebook Messenger adds new feature for Valentine's Day

Last year's Valentine's Day was the most active on Messenger and Facebook and we are excited to see whether it follows the same this year as well. After pressing that notifications, users will be moved to the chat with their loved one where a shower of heart will pour on your screen.

In light of this, today we announced a fun and delightful feature just in time for Valentine's Day. Not only this, your partner will appear first on the "Active" section of Messenger, so you can chat out your feelings faster.

Personalized chat: one can personalize their chat and even set their own custom text color, emoji, and nickname. But the users can use them right now.

To express one's feelings people now get handy with emojis which have become the new love language. The company says that people share over 2 emoji every day through Messenger, with the kissing face, heart eyes, and traditional heart ranking in the top five.
