President Trump says he would beat Oprah in 2020

Just days after the big awards show where numerous people who worked with Harvey Weinstein spoke out against sexual misconduct, Seal accused them all of being hypocrites and took aim at Oprah Winfrey specifically.

However, that hasn't always been the president's opinion.

When Mr Trump discussed a White House run with talk show host Larry King in 1999, he picked Winfrey as his potential running mate.

Winfrey, in September and October, publicly dismissed the notion of seeking the nation's highest office, though she noted that Trump's victory made her rethink the requirements of the office. Would Oprah's other longtime BFF, Stedman Graham, be called "First Man" or "First Boyfriend"?

Professor of Security and Diplomacy at RMIT, Joseph Siracusa, had little doubt of the result. So if that's true, I just want to say: Oprah, you will never be president!

It has been written about in every serious publication that covers politics, and even the vaunted Rasmussen poll took measure of her chances against Trump. Asked if Winfrey had the right set of skills to run the country, Spielberg pointed out: "Does our current president have the skill set to be president?"

The idea of bumper stickers reading "Oprah 2020" may be a liberal fantasy, but some Democratic Party activists are chattering about a Winfrey for president campaign anyway.

Oprah Winfrey's best friend, Gayle King, is downplaying any suggestion that Winfrey might run for president.

Trump's Britain Visit Canceled
This week, Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson brushed off suggestions a state visit to Britain by Mr Trump should be scrapped. Mr Trump accepted the Queen's invitation for an official state visit when the prime minister met him previous year .

Although she has previously said she has no plans to run for president, sources close to her told CNN she is "actively considering" a campaign in the wake of the Golden Globes.

"Does it translate into votes and effective legislation?"

King also said that Winfrey was wholly behind her Golden Globes speech, getting some advice from one of her O, The Oprah Magazine editors, but mainly penning it herself.

"I want all the girls watching here and now to know that a new day is on the horizon!"

Trump appeared on Winfrey's long-running talk show in 1988 and again with his family in 2011, during her final season. He added, "I think she'll learn on the job the same way Bill Clinton learned - a former governor of Arkansas - or Barack Obama, a junior senator, learned on the job". "She lived as we all have lived, too many years in a culture broken by brutally powerful men".

"Do you think I am going to be that successful?"

"Oprah. I love Oprah". "I think it was a homerun on many levels".
