Oscar Winner Joins Tarantino's Manson Project

The Oscar-winning actor has said yes to joining Tarantino's secretive ninth movie and the deal is expected to close very soon.

The idea of Quentin Tarantino making a Pulp Fiction-esque period film set in Hollywood during the time of the Charles Manson murders is a unusual one, and we still have next to no idea what the movie will actually be.

Furthermore, the director has famously said he'll only ever helm ten movies in his career, and as this will be his ninth, the film is now being referred to as #9 in promotional circles.

DiCaprio's will play an aging actor in the story that is being kept under wraps but is a Pulp Fiction-esque movie set in the 1969 Los Angeles during the summer of the Manson murders.

Clifford said in a January 10 statement, which she signed with her stage name, that neither the affair nor the payoff took place. Cohen said in a response to the newspaper that " President Trump once again vehemently denies any such occurrence as has Ms.

The pair previously worked together on the phenomenally popular, The Wolf of Wall Street. Margot Robbie is also heavily-rumored to be playing Sharon Tate in the film (apparently Tarantino's asked her, but it's not been made official), while both Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt are said to have been approached for parts (possibly the same part).

After a heated bidding war, Sony picked up the rights to the feature back in November.

Additionally, the release of the film will come out on the 50th anniversary of Sharon Tate's murder. The movie is the first of Tarantino's to be released with Sony and already has an August 2019 release date.

The movie will be Leonardo's first movie since his role in The Revenant which won him his first Academy Award.
