New PlayStation Figures Named 'Totaku'

As revealed on GameStop's website and the video below from the Spanish branch of retailer Game, at least seven different figures are coming in March as part of a new Totaku Collection line. These "Totaku" figures are comprised of characters exclusive to the PlayStation brand. The first series features Crash Bandicoot, Kratos from God of War (not pictured), the Hunter from Bloodborne, Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet, Heihachi from Tekken, Parappa the Rapper, and the Feisar FX350 from Wipeout.

Record signing Virgil van Dijk has resumed training having missed the win over Manchester City with a hamstring problem. And the Liverpool boss is adamant he will not spend just to satisfy those who believe Coutinho should be replaced now .

GameStop will be the exclusive seller of Totaku figures in the USA, and they'll be launching on March 23rd with pre-orders now available. There's no word yet on whether ThinkGeek plans to add more characters to the Totaku collection or what Sony's involvement is beyond simply licensing them under an anagram for our site. Each figure is four inches tall. Each series is numbered as a way of encouraging you to collect them all. In the United States, they're priced at $10 a pop and will be available exclusively through GameStop and Think Geek. According to Destructoid, the bases can be interlocked, but it's unclear how that will work from the images we've seen. And, well, they are pretty cool I guess. In the United Kingdom, it looks like the range could be coming to GAME, as the retailer has released a video announcing the figures at GAME Spain. I suspect sales of these first six figures will determine whether Totaku gets scrapped quickly or becomes something bigger and longer term.
