Will Rajinikanth's 2.0 defeat The Avengers? Box-Office Battle of 2018

Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India and Mahesh Babu's Bharath Ane Nenu were slotted to release in April. Taking into consideration the severity of the situation, "2.0" makers have made a decision to postpone the film's release.

Seems like Lyca Productions, the makers of upcoming Shankar film 2.0 are leaving no stone unturned to release their film as the most awaited Indian film of the decade.

Claiming it to be nation's costliest movie, Lyca Productions has issued an official statement which read, "Lyca Productions - Superstar Rajinikanth - Akshay Kumar - Shankar magnum opus SciFi action thriller 2.0 to be screened worldwide on April 2018".

Reportedly, 11 top visual effects studios have been working on the Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar film. He further added, "While Padman is a film that I have produced, 2.0 belongs to Shankar, Rajinikanth and Lyca Productions". "If they do, I will postpone Padman and if they don't, I will go ahead". Akshay is making his south debut with Rajinikanth's film which also has Amy Jackson. Adarsh also indicated that film could repeat the history of success just like Baahubali 2 this year.
