Ubisoft Are Giving Away Two Classic PC Titles For Free

On December 11, the critically-acclaimed Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag becomes free for a week on Uplay. Ubisoft is honoring the milestones by giving players free access to these two this December.

Ubisoft is celebrating the tenth anniversary for two of its franchises by offering two free titles throughout the month of December.

If you're after a more immediate freebie, however, Ubisoft is giving away a copy of alternate-history RTS World in Conflict, plus its single-player Soviet Assault expansion, right now on PC. If you don't have Uplay, now's a good time to get it and take advantage of these free games.

Gamasutra reported that Ubisoft (EPA: UBI) placed 5th in its Earnings report roundup: Game industry winners and losers in Q2 2017, with Nintendo as number one. Then, the user should follow the prominent banner on the front page.

It is unclear when the Assassin's Creed Origins update is coming out. "Assassin's Creed: Origins" is now available for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Meanwhile, "World in Conflict" is a real-time strategy game developed by Swedish company Massive Entertainment and published by Sierra Entertainment for Windows PC. The game - a real-time strategy game set in a world where the Soviet Union invaded the USA in the late 1980s - reviewed extremely well at launch, and has since been forgotten somewhat - this is the ideal time to revisit a strategy classic. Learn the strengths and weaknesses of your armies, then leverage them as you wage war on destructible battlefields in the solo campaign or in online multiplayer.
