Yup, the 76ers are still up 20 on the Warriors

Stephen Curry scored 35 points, Kevin Durant had 27 and the defending National Basketball Association champion Golden State Warriors overcame a 22-point halftime deficit in a 124-116 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night (Sunday in Manila).

Curry responded in a big way after a nine-point performance two nights earlier in a road loss at Boston.

The Warriors seem to be playing when they want to these days, as they showed last night when getting waxed in the first half against the 76ers and then making a monster comeback in 12 minutes.

Curry finished with 35 points, five rebounds and five assists, while Durant weighed in with 27 points five rebounds and three assists. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is averaging 14.1 points and 5.4 rebounds while DeMarre Carroll is averaging 13.5 points and 6.6 rebounds. The over-under is set at 231 points.

Klay Thompson (17), Zaza Pachulia (10) and David West (14) also chipped in with double-figure tallies.

After Philadelphia (8-7) registered its largest lead of the game, up 76-52 just 38 seconds into the third, Golden State (12-4) went on an offensive and defensive onslaught.

The Sixers began to come unraveled late in the third as they were whistled for a pair of technical fouls - one on the bench and one on coach Brett Brown. They secured a 124-116 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday after putting together a historically great third-quarter effort to offset a horrifically very bad first-quarter embarrassment.

But one week in a young player's development can mean a lot after Embiid scored 46 points and 15 rebounds in Philadelphia's 115-109 victory against the Lakers on Wednesday.

The Sixers, who lost 135-114 at Golden State one week ago, fell to 8-7. "We'll take where we're at.". After struggling over the L.A. trip, J.J. Redick had a strong first quarter with eight points on 3-for-4 shooting. Sixers F Robert Covington played in his first game since agreeing to a reported four-year, $62 million extension.
