The massive cost of replacing Kevin Spacey in new film

"I love what [the screenwriter's] done, Susan Cohen, she's done it with such imagination that [Charles Dickens] has writer's block and his own characters come and help him out".

Kevin Spacey was recasted in "All the Miney in the World" after allegations of misconduct against the actor.

Plummer added, "The situation is very sad, because he's such a talented guy".

The actor had finished filming for the movie All the Money in the World, which was due to be released on December 22 in the States.

This decision was taken due to the sexual misconduct allegations that surfaced against Spacey almost two weeks ago. "That's all I can say, because that's it".

One can also let the concerned people know if they are on their way by speaking to the Google Assistant on their phones. Else, if you have multiple Google Home devices in your house, you can broadcast one message to all these Home devices .

That only tells half of the story, though, as Plummer's involvement really began on October 29 when Anthony Rapp accused Kevin Spacey of making a sexual advance towards him when he was 14-years-old.

News broke on November 8 that director Ridley Scott was removing Spacey from his upcoming drama "All the Money in the World" and replacing the actor with Plummer in the role of business tycoon J. Paul Getty.

Plummer's response, which would probably spark Twitter backlash if people weren't so busy debating Colin Kaepernick's GQ Citizen of the Year honor, comes just about a month after filmmaker Woody Allen found himself in hot water for using the same term, "sad," to describe the onslaught of allegations against Harvey Weinstein. "Ridley came to me, and I agreed because I want to work with him", he said. "I've got an offer to play a great role". "Everyone has to do it, Ridley and I talked about this before long ago, so it wasn't very new to me". I am very saddened by what happened to Kevin. "The script is wonderful".

Speaking for the first time about the decision, Plummer told Entertainment Tonight that he has found it tough not thinking about the controversy surrounding the House of Cards actor. As far as the history of film is concerned, this has the feeling of a legend in the making, with Spacey's now-shelved performance sure to become an elusive pop culture curio in the future, considering how unlikely it is that the footage of him in the role will ever be released.

Michelle Williams and Mark Wahlberg are also starring in the film and were reportedly a part of a "unified front" in their agreement to have Spacey's role re-shot.
