Paul Hollywood splits from his wife after 20 years

Paul and Alex Hollywood previously separated in 2013 after the famous chef admitted that he had had an affair with Marcela Valladolid, a co-star of his from the American version of Bake Off.

It comes after recent United Kingdom tabloid claims that Hollywood, who'd already been caught having an affair with a judge on the U.S. version of Bake Off back in 2013, had been seen kissing Bake Off victor Candice Brown last month. He had been pictured hugging her at the Pride Of Britain awards last month.

Both hit out at claims that it was anything more than an innocent goodbye kiss though, with Candice - who recently got engaged - pointing out that they were with other people at the time so it was hardly "intimate".

His hand was also placed behind Candice's head making it seem even more like he was pulling her into a passionate embrace. "Now they've made it official".

Paul Hollywood has accused former Bake Off presenters and fellow judge Mary Berry of "abandoning" the show.

Ishaan Khattar's father opens up about nepotism row
Earlier this week, Karan Johar received flak from all the quarters on social media for being a "flag bearer of nepotism". The first look posters have been launched and all of them have the two newbies credited, sans their surnames.

He has now announced they have split.

"We ask the press and public to allow us privacy during this very hard time".

Speaking to the Radio Times, Hollywood said the criticism he received when he chose to stay was "not fun".

The couple, who was married in 1998 in Cyprus, welcomed a son in October 2001.

In an interview with BBC Radio 5 Live after the shock confession, Paul described the affair as "the biggest mistake of my life", and he and Alex reconciled shortly afterwards.
