Kevin Owens And Sami Zayn Sent Home From WWE's Europe Tour

Kevin Owens And Sami Zayn Sent Home From WWE's Europe Tour

While everything appears to be good for the duo on camera, there apparently was some issue with them behind the scenes because WWE has sent them home from the second leg of Smackdown's European tour. At that time, the details of their rule-breaking were unknown, but that is no longer the case. Triple H filled in for Reigns at Raw's first five stops, Kurt Angle teamed with Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose yesterday, and New Day were moved to the Raw side for their remaining dates after this week's TV. Owens and Zayn were supposed to have been "fed" to The New Day following the Zayn/Kofi Kingston match. New Day then waited in the ring, and there was an awkward pause where the sound crew didn't play any music after the match.

Moments ago, we noted Sports Illustrated's Justin Barrasso reported Owens and Zayn were sent home due to "conduct deemed detrimental to the WWE" and that decision was approved by Vince McMahon. Even more, by the sudden exit of KO and Zayn, their offense was egregious enough for WWE to get them on the next plane back to the United States. If this is true, it wouldn't be surprising, seeing as how close the pair was/is to former WWE writer Jimmy Jacobs and former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville, who both have left the company recently under less-than-ideal circumstances.

Jerry Jones hires lawyer, might sue Roger Goodell
The other owners then reportedly told the remaining 25 National Football League team owners of what Jones had said. The latter notion has come up because of Jones criticism of commissioner Roger Goodell in recent weeks.

ProWrestlingSheet's report indicates that Owens and Zayn have been hard to work with lately and seem to be unhappy backstage. From here, you are free to make your own conclusions.
