CD PROJEKT RED Promises Cyberpunk 2077 Won't Be A 'Greedy' Game

CD PROJEKT RED Promises Cyberpunk 2077 Won't Be A 'Greedy' Game

CD Projekt Red recently put to rest some worries about Cyberpunk 2077 moving towards a more "commercial" setup after concerns were raised regarding microtransactions and online elements.

The quote about being "commercially significant" comes from a Polish interview where CD Projekt "s joint-CEO Adam Kicinski, said that, 'online is very necessary, or very recommended if you wish to achieve long-term success".

CD Projekt Red's statement doesn't fully clarify what the multiplayer will look like-will it contain microtransactions?-but the developer is clearly determined to stay on fans' good sides. Players can once again expect a massive open world with a story-driven single-player journey.

Vivo V7 Launched In India: Price, Specifications And Availability
Connectivity choices on the Vivo V7 incorporate Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, Micro-USB, and FM radio. The smartphone bears 32GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) with a dedicated slot.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been in development for more than two years now, with work being put in by a small batch of developers even when The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was close to release.

In the midst of drama surrounding Star Wars Battlefront 2's microtransactions, coming off the back of similar criticisms of Forza 7 and National Basketball Association 2K18 (among others), fans of single-player games were alarmed to hear CD Projekt CEO Adam Kiciński say Cyberpunk 2077 would have online elements.

It's not the likes of CD Projekt gamers have to be anxious about, it's the EA's and Activision's of this world that will try and push the limits when it comes to squeezing every dollar out of gamers. The "games as a service" phrase was supposedly meant for the Gwent game, not as a viable model for Cyberpunk 2077.
