Woods, who had fusion surgery on his lower back in April, has not said if he has been cleared by doctors to resume full golf activity. And yet, considering that he did say he could forsee a scenario where he doesn't come back to competitive golf - we aren't going to get too far ahead of ourselves.

'So that's going to take time to figure that out and figure out what my capabilities are going forward.

"That's all gone now", Woods said of the pain, "which is fantastic".

Steinberg said that Woods has not reported any pain associated with golf swings, but he did not give any indication as to when Woods would return to competition. "This is good, but he plans to do it the right way". There is no planned return date for Woods with Steinberg admitting that it's not even a conversation at this time.
