Sony Announce a Mini Wired Gamepad for PS4

Sony Announce a Mini Wired Gamepad for PS4

PlayStation has come up with a low-priced solution for the younger gamers out there, a solution that is more comfortable and flawless for two-player experiences like Little Big Planet or Knack 2.

The Mini Wired Gamepad is ideal for children to avoid aches and strains during long gaming sessions, and the same goes for adults with small hands. The controller looks to be designed better for adults as compared to children. But they can be hard for kids to wrap their little hands around, so Hori has unveiled the Mini Wired Gamepad, a licensed controller for the PS4 with a child-friendly form factor and a pocket-money price tag.

So now the company has kept the needs of young gamers in mind and come up with a new kind of controller. The device is endowed with all the necessary controls, and is therefore compatible with most games for the platform the PlayStation 4.

You can also share your location with people across your Google contacts, instead of limiting yourself to a single app. However, the feature would offer the flexibility of switching the location sharing service on and off, if they want.

Across the board, it's basically the same as the DualShock 4 when it comes to buttons and other inputs.

Sony revealed the Mini Wired Gamepad on Tuesday. As it's designed for kids I also expect the Mini Wired pad to survive a lot more drops, bumps, and angry gamer throws. Imagine gaming as easy as plugging in a 10-foot cable.

Seeing that the less large handed gamers might find the DualShock 4 controller of the PS4 too much to handle, Sony has acted. Now, this has posed a serious risk as the console becomes incompatible with a few games. Now for the catch: "this controller does not include some features of DualShock 4, including a touch pad, light bar, stereo headset jack, speaker, vibration, or motion sensing".
