Names of Fort Collins shooting victims released

Larimer County's coroner has identified the man who allegedly shot three people in a neighborhood west of Colorado State University Thursday morning, killing two of them before he killed himself, as Michael A. Zamora, 30, of Fort Collins.

CSU students were advised to lock doors, stay inside and avoid the area where the shooting happened. "We just kept hearing these manic screams, at which point we chose to call 911", said Pickett in an interview with the news station.

Colorado State University said the student victim's family had been notified.

Police have been tight-lipped about the investigation and said more information would be released Friday. One of the people who died is believed to be the suspect. The Coloradoan reports that person is among those who are dead. McNealy was studying liberal arts and art history. McNealy also contributed to CSU Life, a monthly campus publication, where she worked as a designer.
