Joel Embiid calls minutes restriction 'f-ing bulls-'

"That's fucking bullshit. I wish I was playing more minutes".

Embiid (ankle) said Tuesday that he expects to play approximately 16 minutes in the Sixers' season opener Wednesday against the Wizards, Jessica Camerato of NBA Sports Philadelphia reports. "I don't really know if there's a solid number", said Brown, via The Philadelphia Inquirer. I can tell you if you were to choose a number, it's somewhere in the teens. "But that's disappointing", said Embiid.

To which the 23-year-old budding superstar said it's "f-king bullshit".

The coaching staff is faced with the tricky task of managing Embiid's allotted minutes over a 48-minute span. Brett Brown is considering using up his playing time in the first half instead of spacing it out to have him available in the fourth quarter.

"They are going to hear me". The minutes thing we're going to learn more about that, there will be some minutes restriction, but it's also a judgment of how is the game being played, not just looking at a rigid number.

But Embiid may not have as big a role early on as he'd hoped to.

Blazkowicz and his rag-tag band of underground rebels take to the streets to wipe out the Nazi menace that has conquered America. After Wolfenstein : The New Order which came out in 2014, this is the eighth main title in the Wolfenstein franchise.

But given the precedent that was set past year when the minutes restriction was first introduced, his playing time has the chance to increase rapidly if Embiid shows he's able to stay on the floor. But I don't know.

EMBIID: I always think I have a voice, so I'm sure they're listening to what I have to say too, but they're making a decision based on what they think. But he still wasn't cleared for full contact as training camp approached. He's worked hard to get back on the court after suffering a season-ending meniscus injury, and the extreme minutes restriction makes you wonder how much confidence the team has in him to remain healthy.

You'll have to forgive Philadephia fans for rolling their eyes. But by the end of November, Embiid was already up to playing around 28 minutes per game, with some additional leeway if the Sixers were engaged in a tight game during the final minutes.

Not only that, but the team didn't even bother to break the news to him.

"I think they're talking about it right now".
