Florida has new gator-themed uniform that are either incredible or disgusting

For the first time in school history, the University of Florida football players will look like real alligators in a swamp when they take on Texas A&M on Saturday night at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Here are the head-to-toe details of this alternate uniform.

The helmet will feature the Gator head logo on one side of he helmet for the first time. Player numbers are orange with royal blue trim.

The trousers and socks are also swamp green, but don't have the scaly pattern. The camouflage-styled jerseys will be paired with "swamp-green" helmets, pants, socks, shoes and gloves.

-The jersey will showcase a scaled pattern, with royal blue sleeves.

The Florida Gators take pride in their mascot.

During that matchup five years ago, Florida downed A&M, 20-17.

"'The Swamp' is a place where only Gators get out alive", Spurrier said. "We feel this is an appropriate nickname for our stadium".

Coach Jim McElwain says Toney (shoulder) won't practice and is "highly questionable" to play against the Aggies (4-2, 2-1 Southeastern Conference).
