Bungie Releases Destiny 2 Update 1.08 To Fix Raid Keys And More

An impromptu, unscientific poll with more than 1,100 responses as of press time indicates that 75 percent of Destiny 2 players think Bungie should redact its labeling of Clan Redeem of the world's first to beat Leviathan on Prestige mode.

Yesterday, clan Redeem claimed a world's first finish, winning by a margin of only four minutes. In one clip, the exploiter himself can even be heard referring to the move as the "dubious glitch".

An expanded, more challenging version of the original Leviathan raid, the Prestige version recommends for you to have a power level of 300 or higher as opposed to only 260-280 for the normal one. By equipping The Wardcliff Coil (an exotic rocket launcher), then picking up power ammo, then switching to a different power weapon, you immediately get full power ammo. Redeem used a known exploit that Bungie had attempted to patch out but was unable to, and players are divided on whether the world first clear should count. Here's YouTuber Kota demonstrating the technique back in September. Until people started reporting that the team had been exploiting a glitch in order to win.

Congress finally has a bill to regulate Facebook. Here's what it says
In their press conference announcing the bill, the senators noted that Google and Facebook command 85% on online political ads. Facebook said at least $100,000 in ads were paid for in rubles to accounts traced to Russian Federation .

It's likely that either the glitch will be fixed, or Bungie will be introducing a way to track it and disqualify those that use it in the future.

"We have seen the reports that an ammo exploit was used today in the Prestige Raid", the Community Manager wrote. "This was not the specific exploit we were checking for and we don't now have the ability to detect it". The developer has since responded saying that they can't detect coil glitching, but they plan on releasing the top three finishers for the raid and "you can make your own decision as to who should be celebrated". Esoterickk, a member of the clan that finished in sixth place, has also publicly come out to say that Redeem should be credited with first place.
