The third quarter went India's way - they scored just two minutes after the resumption of play when Ramandeep Singh made a fierce strike from the right flank in the 33rd minute to give the Indians a 3-1 lead.

In the same quarter, Bangladesh did make some kind of impression with skipper Rasel Mahmud Jimmy in thick of things during the period. Mahmood grabbed his third from a PC three minutes later while Arslan wrapped up the victory with a reverse hit right before the end.

Japan, however, were quick to equalize, scoring through Kenji Kitazato in the 4th minute. India thrashed Japan by five goals to one in a Group A match.

"The boys are looking in full form and they will get better results in Asia Cup", he said.He said that unfortunately the team could not come up to the expectations in the World Hockey League (WHL).
