WWE provides a brief update on Vince McMahon

The Prizefighter hit The Chairman where it hurtsWhat's the story?

On last week's SmackDown LIVE, Kevin Owens took things too far when confronted by SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon, telling his boss that Shane's entire family, especially his kids, would have been better off if Shane didn't survive that helicopter crash a couple of months ago.

In case you didn't know.

.

As expected, Baron Corbin got involved in Tye Dillinger's shot at AJ Styles' U.S. Championship. Shane was the special guest referee in Owens and Styles' SummerSlam match which Owens lost and requested a different special guest referee for his next championship match. He booked a Hell in a Cell match between Shane and Kevin, which is something that Owens agreed to under one condition. Shane lost his cool, beat up Owens, and then received notice from Vince McMahon, via General Manager Daniel Bryan, that he will be suspended indefinitely. This led to Owens head butting McMahon, busting him open and then beating him down and laying him out with a frog splash.

Supreme Court Preserves Texas' Gerrymandered Maps In 5-4 Split-For Now
The Supreme Court gave no reason for its Tuesday decision as is normal in such cases, per Politico . The court's intervention was a victory for Texas Republicans, who had drawn the districts.

Medical teams and his daughter Stephanie had to help McMahon out of the ring after he was cut open by the opening headbutt.

One significant set of changes come due to the changes the real-life WWE franchise has experienced over the past year, which will bring changes to the game's Universe mode, which simulates the televised WWE schedule.

Here are five predictions for what should be a "straight fire" episode of SmackDown.

What happens next will be very interesting, considering that Hell in A Cell is still many a few weeks away.
