Packers: Flurry of activity sends Gunter, Jean Francois packing

Gunter was released by the Packers on Tuesday.

Pankey, a 6-foot-5, 313-pound rookie out of West Virginia, was originally signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent on May 5. Gunter started the final 15 games and all 3 playoff games. He finished the regular season with 202 yards and two touchdowns. And while he was a physical corner, he did not possess top line speed.

Greene, a 6-foot-3, 321-pound first-year player out of San Diego State, was originally signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2016, but was released on September 3, 2016. At 23 years-old and coming off an impressive tail end to the 2016 season, Allison should slide in as the number four receiver spot in Green Bay, behind Nelson, Adams and Cobb.

The Green Bay Packers are surprising releasing veteran defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois, according to NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Nintendo makes voice chat less of a disaster on Switch
Most notably, it required users to keep their phone unlocked with the app open in order to run, otherwise, it wouldn't work. First, voice chat will still shut down when using another app that requires the use of a microphone.

Francois played in only three games as a rookie but wound up clocking in full 16-game seasons over the next three years with the 49ers. He signed with the Packers as a free agent in the offseason; a one year, $2 million dollar deal.

As for Ricky Jean Francois, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reported this afternoon that his release came after seeing just six plays last Sunday.

With five defensive linemen now on the roster, the Packers seem set, but given the changes that Thompson has made recently, nothing is out of the realm of possibility as we move ahead.
