Lambert's MuttNation foundation are attempting to rescue those domesticated animals who were left alone in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, with 230 animals already picked up.

Lambert shared on social media Wednesday that her team was able to send over 70 dogs to their shelter in Oklahoma.

She started MuttNation with her mother, Bev, in 2009. This included her boutique, Pink Pistol, which closed its doors in May 2016, a little less than a year after she and Shelton got divorced.

"Thx to some fantastic transportation volunteers, we sent over 70 pups to a shelter in OK today". Our rigs are now rolling into Houston for another load. Stay tuned tomorrow and continue to pray.

MuttNation said they were "overwhelmed" by the support they'd received, writing that they'd managed to save 72 dogs in Harris County in just one day.
