Greek foreign ministry condemns terrorist attack in London underground

ISIS said a group "detachment" had been behind the bombing.

FOLLOWING yesterday's terrorist attack in London the threat level has been raised to critical across England, Scotland and Wales. Unconfirmed reports said 29 people were injured.

Reuters photographs showed police cordons in a modest suburban street in Sunbury, in the county of Surrey, around 11 miles (18 km) from Parsons Green where the bomb exploded. Residents said they were evacuated immediately as police established a huge cordon and imposed a no-fly zone above the property being searched.

Basu stressed that the arrest would be followed by further actions by the police, providing no additional details on the issue.

The second arrest came the same day the police detained an 18-year-old man in connection with the bombing on Friday, calling it "a significant arrest".

Before this year the most serious category had only been reached on two other occasions since it was first publicly disclosed in August 2006.

Irma rampaged through the Caribbean, devastating several islands and raking the northern shore of Cuba last week. Three deaths took place at the nursing home while two deaths happened as they were being taken to the hospital.

The London police counter terrorism command is leading the response and the probe is being supported by the British spy agency MI5, he said. She said that "London is carrying on". We never have and we carry on... Dover is connected to France through the Eurotunnel, which indicates that the man may have been trying to flee the country. "This investigation would continue and the threat level is still critical".

This it Britain's fifth terror attack this year, but it's the only one that hasn't caused fatalities. He has not been charged or identified.

At "critical" level soldiers and armed police are deployed to secure strategic sites and hunt down the perpetrators of an imminent attack. Detectives will also look into the CCTV footage before and after the attack to track movements of those they suspect of involvement. No arrests have been made and a major manhunt for suspects is underway.

"We denounce this act of terror perpetrated against the British people".

Thirty people were injured after a device partly detonated on an underground train at London's Parsons Green on Friday morning. Police confirmed there were no fatalities as forensic experts reported that many lives were saved after the device failed to detonate properly. No arrests have been made.
