Donald Trump's London terrorist attack tweet 'unhelpful' - Met Police

British Police confirmed they had arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with the attack on Saturday morning (local time), as part of the manhunt to find the terrorists responsible for causing carnage on a south-west London train with a crude homemade "bucket bomb" on Friday. 'These are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard. "Must be proactive!" he wrote in his first tweet.

Research suggests that most terrorists already live in the countries where they attack. "The internet is their main recruitment tool which we must cut off & use better!" He added, "Must be proactive & nasty!" McMaster would not say if Trump revealed privileged information.

It was not immediately clear who was behind the attack or whether the assailant or assailants had been on the radar of British intelligence, as Mr. Trump suggested.

Trump also took the opportunity to highlight "tough talk" on terror such as increasing the travel ban into the United States.

Trump later told reporters that the attack "is a awful thing".

He also renewed a call to shut down internet capabilities, a claim he had made during his presidential campaign in 2015.

The President did share highly classified intelligence about suspected IS plans, until then closely guarded among United States allies, with the Russian foreign minister during a meeting at the White House.

U.S. drone kills three 'Afghan Taliban' in Kurram
In April, a suspected U.S. drone strike had killed several Taliban militants in North Waziristan close to the Afghanistan border. In June, a drone strike had killed a commander of the deadly Haqqani network in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Hangu district.

According to The New York Times, Trump's tweets only add to the strain that's been buckling the USA and UK's special relationship.

The arguments will focus on the legality of the ban on travelers from six Muslim majority countries and any refugees. His post comes ahead of a key Supreme Court hearing next month on the constitutionality of his executive order on the ban.

Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for the explosion in which 29 people were hurt after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blasted on a Tube train at the Parsons Green Station.

Khan, the United Kingdom capital's first Muslim mayor, responded to Trump's tweets on Friday by saying that, "I'm not going to go there".

President Donald Trump is defending his travel ban.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan said he was coordinating with the police and authorities and urged Londoners to "remain calm and vigilant".
