Bose and Google announce Google Assistant powered QCR35 II Headphones

The QuietComfort 35 II, as they're being called, will be the first wireless headphones on the market to come with Google Assistant built-in. The two companies worked closely to "create a great Assistant experience", one that will cost you $350.

The Bose QC35 II headphones have all the features of the original model, such as up to 20 hours of battery life and impressive noise cancellation.

Further, if you are not using Google Assistant, you always have the option to change the Action button to control noise cancellation instead of the virtual assistant. "We didn't change anything that people already love - with the Google Assistant built in, and new choices for what you hear, we made it better", said Brian Maguire, director, Bose on-the-go products.

A few days after image leaks of its retail packaging hit the internet, Bose has now officially announced its new QuietComfort 35 II wireless headphones. You can activate the Siri like Voice Assistant by pressing on the button which is placed at the right earbuds. Simply trigger the Google Assistant and say "Call Dad" and a call will be made to your dad without you having to as much as touch your phone! Bose claims they are sweat- and water-resistant, and that they deliver up to five hours of battery life. The new headphones is called the new SoundSport Free earbuds by Bose. Plus, you can ask Google Assistant a question from the QC35 IIs to find out the score of a football game, whether or not your flight is on time, what's in the news and what movies are playing in theaters at the moment.

In order to take advantage of the Google Assistant feature on the QC 35 II, the headphones will rely on the Android phone or iPhone for most of the processing and network connectivity. The Bose QC35 II wireless Bluetooth headphones will keep everything private and convenient.

The Bose QC35 II comes in Black or Silver and should become available for purchase later today for $349.95. Bose products for the home, in the vehicle, on the go and in public spaces have become iconic, changing the way people listen to music.
